Tango Lingua comes to the IoW!
Fundamentals & improvers group tango lesson
Every Wednesday @ Northwood House community hall,
Ward Avenue, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8AZ
8.30pm - 10pm : class
A longer 90 min mixed class, suitable for all levels (but not complete beginners), followed by 1 hour of social dancing! Each class begins with core tango technique practice, crucial for all abilities of tango dancer and then moves gradually to progressively more challenging possibilities arising from having good core technique. Students are given individual feedback and technique variations suitable for their current abilities within the dance.
10-11pm : social dancing
Time to play with what you learnt in your classes and just enjoy the dance!
£12 for the evening (£10 with a subscription)
The price includes tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit refreshments!

Teaching
 The class is taught by Joe Hudson, a professional tango teacher, performer and choreographer, with over a decade of professional Argentine tango dance teaching experience. Passionate about passing on knowledge to his students in a way that helps them get the most from tango as a social dance, while opening the door to experiencing its depths, as far as the student wants. With a martial arts background, and contemporary dance experience, Joe draws on an array of physical disciplines and insights into movement and partner connection in his teaching.
